After a VERY busy weekend in Gunnison, City Council will be meeting this evening and tending to City business. Council will be discussing the following issues:
a License Agreement application from Las Palmas Restaurant, 138 W. Tomichi Avenue, to use a portion of the City sidewalk located on the west side of their building for outside patio restaurant service; the possible placement of tourist information kiosks in the downtown area; further discussion on City in-kind service and funding to place cameras at the Gunnison Whitewater Park; and continued discussion on the Youth City Council-sponsored "Youth Tobacco Ordinance". The City Council meeting starts at 7pm in the Council Chambers of City Hall, 201 W. Virginia Avenue in Gunnison and, as always, the public is invited and encouraged to come!
