City Council Action

The Gunnison City Council will be meeting in a Regular Session meeting tomorrow, Tuesday, August 27th, starting at 7pm in the Council Chambers of City Hall, 201 W. Virginia Avenue. 

Gunnison City Council
The City Counciil will be addressing the following items:
Action on the August 11th Council meeting minutes;
Action on a Contract for Service with the Gunnison-Crested Butte Tourism Association in the amount of $8,334.  to help fund the TA to place a mini-vacation planner insert in the Official Colorado Tourism Guide;
Action on a Contract for Service in the amount of $5,000 with the Gunnison High School Rodeo Team to host a high school rodeo in Gunnison this fall;
Action to approve new comments on the potential listing of the Gunnison Sage Grouse as an endangered species by the US Fish & Wildlife Service;
2nd Reading and apporval of Ordinance No 10, Series 2013, to make a major change to the Gunnison Rising Planned Unit Development (PUD) to add the master drainage plan of the property into the PUD;
and a semi-annual department report from Community Development Diretor Westbay on the status of the CD Department. 
Joining the Council will be this year's WSCU student liaison, Amber Leal.  Having direct input from the Western students in our community is important to the decision making process of City Council.  Welcome Amber.
