City of Gunnison Happenings

The City of Gunnison incorporated on February 28, 1880. The residents of Gunnison enjoy a healthy and safe community with clear skies, and a myriad of outdoor recreation opportunites. The City provides services to enhance the quality of life for our citizens including recreation in our parks, hiking trails, outdoor and indoor ice rinks, and community center with a climbing wall and 2 indoor pools.

Community Center Spring Changes

Starting Monday, April 2, 2012, the Gunnison Community/Aquatics Center will be closing at 8:00 P.M. The new facility hours are:
Monday - Friday 6am to 8pm
Saturday - 10am to 8pm
Sunday - 12 Noon to 8pm.
Call the Community Center at 641-8060 for further information. Happy Spring!
