By all of the political advertisements in your mailbox and on television, you might know that it's ELECTION time.
It's too late to register to vote for the November 6th National, State and Local Election. If you are registered to vote, you have several options. If you have designated yourself to be a permanent mailballot voter, you should have received your ballot in the mail. Again, you will only receive your ballot by mail if you have requested that option. If you haven't received your mail ballot, contact the County Election office at 641-7927.
If you would like to vote early, you can visit the County Election Office in the Blackstock Government Building, 221 N. Wisconsin Street in Gunnison, (directly west across the street from the Post Office) to obtain your ballot, and then vote.
You can also vote at your designated polling place from 7am to 7pm on Election Day, Tuesday, November 6, 2012. You should have already received your voter registration information card in the mail that lists your precinct and where to vote. You can find polling place location information on the County Clerk's website as well.
To check all of your voter registration information, IT'S EASY.
